  4. I made this same cake for my youngest daughters' wizard of oz party this year.

    it was a lot of work, but i was so pleased with it, it definetely has a wow factor to it!!

    love celebrations, a great moment!!

  8. Nice! I first saw the rainbow cake on the blog Elsie Marley and thought that it was so beautiful, but also more complicated than I could handle. :) You did such a lovely job. It looks festive and delicious!

  9. Love it! I made a very similar cake for my daughter's birthday a few years ago. It had fewer layers, and I frosted the outside pale, pale blue, and decorated it with fluffy white frosting "clouds". Your photo just reminded of it.

    I made it this year for my daughter's birthday, which is in March. It was a huge hit with the kids!
