monday mission :: a recyclable invitiation

This week's mission takes a bit of prep - but not too much. 

When your kids are asleep, at school or out of the house, set up a recyclable invitation. 

Cover your work table with butcher paper or newspaper and pile it project supplies. We used our recyclables (which I had just organized), shells, scrap fabric, scissors, glue, tape, brads, rubber bands, markers, dowels and wood bits, and anything else I could find laying around. 

These things have been easily accessible to the kids,  but there is something special when it is prepared for the artist to stumble onto. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of the work. We made monsters, vehicles and lots of enrichment climbing structures for our mice.
